Barred Phones Disclaimer - Please read!

- Starlight Mobiles DO NOT unlock barred phones.

What is a barred , blocked phone?

- A stolen or lost mobile phone and useless.

How does a mobile get barred or blocked?

When a person buys a Pay As You Go phone, or gets one free, or cheap on a contract or pre-pay tariff on any network and the person either:

1. Loses their mobile phone and reports this to their service or network provider.

2. Has their mobile stolen and reports this to their service or network provider.

Terms of Service

I understand that if the unit I supply is deemed to be 'beyond economical repair' I will incur a fee for the inspection of the mobile phone as agreed upon the signing this document.

- I understand that the unit itself may require a software change, which may cause the loss of data and/or the unit to revert back to the network to which it was initially locked. In the case of the unit switching back to an original network, Starlight Mobiles can 'unlock' the unit, incurring an additional fee for the process.

- I understand that if the original fault is water damage, repairs may take up to 5 working days.

- I understand that on receipt of the unit, Starlight Mobiles will repair the faults outlined in this and the initial application, any further fault will incur additional costs which will be quoted separately.

- I understand that any unit sent to Starlight Mobiles with a charging fault will require the unit battery and charger.

- I understand that Starlight Mobiles is not responsible for any damage or loss of customised Sim cards or phone covers.

Warranty information - Should the unit fail with the EXACT PART FAILURE within 90 days of the unit being repaired, Starlight Mobiles will repair the phone at no extra charge - excluding any physical or accidental damage. (This excludes the cost of postage)

SL3 Phones

Some new Nokia BB5 & DCT4+ phones have a special SL3 lock protection on them.SL3 is short for "Sim Lock 3" and is a new lock protection put in place to make it difficult for you to unlock your Nokia phone.

Starlight Mobile CAN UNLOCK SL3 phones. Simply fill in our quotation form below and we will email you with a price for unlocking your SL3 phone.

An easy way to check if your Nokia phone is SL3 is key in *#0000# on the phone, this will show the software version of the phone.
If your phone version is like 6.51 then we CAN unlock it using the service tools.
If your phone version is like 59.60, then we can unlock vodafone,tmobile and orange handsets using a code server. O2, 3, and virgin are not supported at the moment.
